A consultation on the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) review of marine fisheries and environmental enforcement arrangements in England and Wales began on 8 July 2004. The report, 'Review of Marine Fisheries and Environmental Enforcement', sets out the current position and prospects for the enforcement and related tasks in England and Wales and makes recommendations for improving the organisational, legal and financial framework. Deadline for responses: 30 September 2004.
