Web weapon in pro-Europe drive

Denis MacShane, the UK's Minister for Europe, launched an online forum on the European Constitution on 19 August 2003. Users will be able to log on and discuss European issues with MPs, Government Ministers and officials leading the negotiations on the future of Europe. The initiative follows the promise of a pro-European campaign by Tony Blair, UK Prime Minister, and Gordon Brown, UK Chancellor, following the Government's 'not yet' stance on the single currency in June 2003.
