'European Futures', a report produced by Robert Huggins Associates of Cardiff, will be presented to a European Union-sponsored seminar on Strategic Futures in Europe as part of the World Future Society's Annual Conference in San Francisco on 18-20 July 2003. The report found that Europe's nations are becoming increasingly economically divided and between 1994 and 2000 the prosperity gap within Europe's nations increased by a staggering 25%, measured by the level of inter-regional variation in the economic performance of Europe's nations. |
