Brown at risk of breaching eurozone rules

According to a report by a leading economic think-tank, the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, the UK Chancellor, Gordon Brown, risks breaching the Maastricht rules on government borrowing within two years unless taxes are raised or spending reduced.
