Pound’s fall may aid euro entry, George tells MPs

Sir Edward George, Governor of the Bank of England, told the UK Treasury Select Committee that sterling's decline made euro entry more 'acceptable' and was no longer the 'immediate obstacle' to membership it had been a year ago.
