Greece to push for boost to EU oil stocks

Article previews a meeting of European Union Energy Ministers in Greece on 22 February 2003, at which the Greek Presidency was expected to try and win round doubting Member States to a compromise on controversial proposals to boost Europe's reserves of oil and gas. The European Commission put forward proposals in 2002 which would have increased the obligatory level of oil stocks from 90 to 120 days with similar measures for gas.
