The Irish Minister for Education and Science, Noel Dempsey, on 29 January 2004, announced that Ireland would hold the 'Most Sporting School' 2004 competition, one of many activities being held to mark the European Year of Education Through Sport 2004. The competition is a Dutch initiative and has run successfully in that country for a number of years. The European finals of the competition will take place in the Netherlands in December 2004. |
