After a much-publicised row at the European Council Summit in Brussels on 25 October 2002, the UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, and the French President, Jacques Chirac, are reported to have had a brief conversation during a break in proceedings at the NATO Summit in Prague on 21 November 2002. Both men made light of suggestions that there had been a rift in the Anglo-French relationship. The Anglo-French Summit due to take place in December 2002 and cancelled following the row in Brussels, may now take place in January 2003.
