The National Forum on Europe held a public meeting in Stranorlar, County Donegal, Ireland on 18 September 2002. As well as having the highest 'no' vote in the first referendum on the Treaty of Nice, at more than 60 per cent, County Donegal also had the lowest turnout. Barely 28 per cent of the electorate voted. |
