Quarterly Report on the Euro Area, September 2002

This issue assesses the current economic situation in the euro area, considering that the economic situation has become less rosy over the summer as a result of both domestic and external factors. Nevertheless, several factors do point towards an acceleration to potential growth in 2003. The report also contains an analytical chapter, focusing on the euro-area's cost and price competitiveness.
