Date: 08/05/02 CAMPAIGNING lawyer Michael Verhaeghe has confirmed that Israeli leader Ariel Sharon still faces the prospect of war crimes charges in Belgium. Verhaeghe represents survivors of massacres at the Sabra and Shatila Lebanese refugee camps in 1982, who filed a civil suit in Brussels against Sharon last year.
