The UK Government has pledged up to £215m over five years from 2003-04 to provide incentive payments for companies to join the UK Emissions Trading Scheme for greenhouse gas emissions. This will be allocated through an auction in 2002. The final Framework Document for the Scheme has been published on 14 August 2001. |
