Border troubles

Editorial comments on the law passed by the Hungarian Parliament that grants welfare entitlements to ethnic Hungarians in neighbouring countries and caused concern with the governments in these countries. The author suggests that the topic should be handled with more cautiousness in Hungary in order to retain good relations to countries such as Romania and Slovakia.
