Prague warned on risks of overspending

In its 2001 Economic Survey of the Czech Republic, the OECD warns on the country's fiscal policy being too relaxed and an emerging twin deficit problem that could threaten economic stability in the medium term. The OECD stresses the need for a tighter fiscal stance, to be achieved through permanent expenditure cuts.
