Youth research in Europe: the next generation. Perspectives on transitions, identities and citizenship

Book abstract:

This book covers a range of issues such as the construction of identities in the information age, the realities of youth citizenship and participation in a risk society, and the complexities of youth transitions. Written for the most part by young researchers, it represents a snapshot of current debate in different parts of Europe, and an insight into the research agenda a new generation of social scientists will be shaping in the years to come.
