Article reports on a research project on the recent EU migrants' experience in the United Kingdom. The vast majority said they attracted to the UK not by welfare but by the chance to build a 'normal life' for themselves and their families. Thus, to argue for restrictions on access to welfare benefits for newly arrived migrants will not necessarily have an impact of reducing migration.
