US and EU trade talks to resume

US and EU representatives met in July 2014 for the sixth round of negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

In July 2014, it was reported that about 150,000 people had responded to the European Commission’s online consultation on the controversial investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) clause in the TTIP.
