Trade boosted by five years of EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement

The European Commission highlighted on 1 July 2016 the fifth anniversary since the signature of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union and South Korea.

The document was signed in October 2010 and provisionally implemented in July 2011. The Council of the European Union formally adopted the agreement in October 2015, following ratification by the member states.
