Author suggests that in early September 2016 it would look as if United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May seems to be looking for a compromise around freedom of movement in order to retain access to the Single Market.

However, the writer warns that EU leaders’ exasperation at the apparent indecision and unpreparedness of the UK government is growing. Ultimately, this could erode their early willingness to cut a deal in line with the UK’s interests.
