The Smith Commission Report- Overview

The Report of the Smith Commission for further devolution of powers to the Scottish Parliament was published on 27 November 2014. This briefing provides background to the Smith Commission. It considers the recommendations made by the Commission, the current position with regard to the powers considered for further devolution and, where relevant, the submissions made to the Commission by the main political parties and by other bodies.
