Statement: President Juncker participates in official celebrations marking 25 years of German unity

Statement released on 2 October 2015 by the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker concerning his participation at the official celebrations marking 25 years of German reunification.

Both German President Joachim Gauck and Chancellor Angela Merkel used the occasion to call for unity in handling the refugee crisis in Europe.
