Statement: New EU regulation on eIdentification (eIDAS) launched by Neelie Kroes

On the 14 October 2014 Neelie Kroes, vice-President of the European Commission responsible for the Digital Agenda, made a statement concerning the launch of the regulation on eIdentification and Trust services (eIDAS), offering a framework for security services and a single set of rules for Europe.
