Slovenian PM graft case reaches Van Rompuy

EurActiv reported that Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša, who was under pressure to resign over allegations he violated financial disclosure rules, had put European Council President Herman Van Rompuy in an embarrassing situation by publishing a statement on the 10 January 2013 saying the European leader had given Janša his 'personal support'.
