The chairman of Austria's right-wing Freedom Party (FPÖ) Heinz-Christian Strache showed on 9 November 2015 his intention to bring a criminal complaint against the country's government for its handling of the refugee crisis.

Mr Strache said that his party believed that the government's approach to dealing with the mass movement of people had been an example of 'gross negligence'.
