Regions fear being sidelined in new EU infrastructure fund

EurActiv reported that a new multi-billion euro EU fund for transport, energy and telecoms infrastructure was drawing concern among regions in Europe in June 2011, which feared being sidelined by national authorities when it came to allocating the money.
