Press Release: TTIP: EU Chief Negotiator says EU-US trade deal not about deregulation, as third round of talks end in Washington

The EU and US on 20 December 2013 concluded the third round of week-long negotiations for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), with the EU's Chief Negotiator Ignacio Garcia Bercero again stressing that any deal would uphold "the highest standards of consumer, environment, health and labour protection."

The 4th Round of negotiations were due to take place 10-14 March 2014 in Brussels.
