The European Parliament debated in plenary on 7 October 2015 several issues relating to security, defense and foreign policy.

The members of the parliament said the European Union should do more to encourage stability and security in Libya, defended a full and independent investigation into the airstrikes against a hospital in the Afghan town of Kunduz and warned against compromising human rights in cooperating with Turkey over the refugee crisis.
