Press Release: Parliament approves an extra €69.6 million to help cope with migrants

	The European Parliament approved on 7 July 2015 a proposal of the European Commission to allocate a €69.6 million budget boost to three agencies managing migration flows into the European Union and two funds for migration measuers, allowing extra staff and more expenses for this year. The chamber had been calling for bigger budgets in the wake of successive tragedies hitting the Mediterranean region.
