The EU's High Representative for Foreign Policy Federic Mogherini condemned on 6 January 2015 the alleged nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Ms Mogherini considered the move to be a 'grave violation' of UN resolutions by North Korea, slamming the test as 'illegal and dangerous behaviour'.
