Press Release: Georgia: one step closer to EU visa liberalisation

The Commission adopted on the 29 October 2014 its second progress report on the implementation by Georgia of the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan (VLAP).

It concluded that Georgia meet the first-phase requirements of the visa dialogue. The second phase, where the Commission would be checking the implementation of all these benchmarks, could therefore be launched.
