The Standing Veterinary Committee approved on 16 January 2002 a proposal from the European Commission with regard to foot-and-mouth disease in Argentina. The decision authorises the import into the European Union of deboned and maturated fresh bovine meat from the whole country with exception of the provinces of La Pampa and Santiago del Estero as of 1 February 2002. |
