Press Release: Federica Mogherini welcomes announcement of members of new Libyan unity government

The EU's High Representative for Foreign Policy Federica Mogherini welcomed on 19 January 2016 the announcement of the agreement on the Ministerial posts in the Government of National Accord by the Libyan Presidency Council as 'an important decision'.

Ms Mogherini considered the outcome, under the leadership of Fayez Sarraj as 'an essential step in the implementation of the Libya Political Agreement'.
