Press Release: Extra €69.6 million for migration measures approved in Budgets Committee

The European Parliament's budgets committee considered the three agencies of the European Union managing migration flows and various other EU funds dealing with migration should get a €69.6 million budget boost.

These changes to the 2015 EU budget were approved on 23 June 2015, but they still needed to be formally accepted by the chamber in pleanry and by the Council of the European Union, set to meet in July.
