	The Seventh Summit between the European Union (EU) and the Republic of Korea (ROK) took place in Brussels on 8 November 2013. The EU was represented by Mr Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, and Mr José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission. The ROK was represented by President Park Geun-hye. The Summit marks 50 years of diplomatic relations between the EU and South Korea and this will be will be celebrated through a leaders declaration. At the summit, discussions focused on EU-Republic of Korea relations, trade relations and regional issues with North Korea.
