An European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) report, published on 10 February 2014, indicated the main future cybercrime threats on the horizon and how had the EC3 contributed to protect European citizens and businesses since its launch in January 2013.

The main task of the EC3 is to disrupt the operations of organised crime networks that commit serious and organised cybercrime.
