Press Release: EU needs to earmark money to withstand Russia, say Foreign Affairs MEPs

The European Parliament's foreign affairs committee defended in a resolution voted on 12 May 2015 that the European Union should earmark specific funding to counter Russia's propaganda, its infiltration of EU politics and its support to independence movements.

MEPs added that EU member states should refrain from doing bilateral deals with Russia and step up their collective effores to withstand it, whilst retaining a return to cooperation with Russia as a long-term goal.
