Press Release: EU master plan for raw materials: innovation is the key

On 25 September 2013, the High Level Steering Group of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials released a Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) describing how to reduce Europe's dependency on imported raw materials, how to ensure a sustainable supply of raw materials to the European economy and how to make Europe a world leader in raw materials exploration, extraction, processing, recycling and substitution by 2020.
