Press Release: EU high level delegation of HR/VP Federica Mogherini and EU Commissioners to visit Iran

On 16 April 2016, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini led a high level delegation to Iran, which included several EU commissioners.

The official visit took place as the Council of the European Union renewed a set of targeted sanctions over the country's human rights record.
