Press Release: End in sight for mobile phone ‘roaming’ fees and unequal internet access

The telecom package which includes a ban on roaming charges and rules on the right to internet access was formally approved by the European Parliament in plenary on 27 October 2015.

The proposal was therefore adopted as law, following the formal agreement by the Council of the European Union on 1 October.
