Press Release: Commission adopts 2012 Work Programme for European Renewal

The European Commission adopted its Work Programme for 2012 'Delivering European renewal' on the 15 November 2011.

The Programme sets out how the Commission will build on the existing ambitious set of proposals to respond to the economic crisis already announced with further measures in 2012. It translates the political priorities identified by President Barroso in his September 2011 State of the Union address into concrete actions for 2012.
