President and distinguished foreign guests took part in the March of Dignity in Kyiv

Led by President Poroshenko and foreign dignatories, Ukrainians held marches and memorial services on the 22 February 2015 for 100 people killed one year previously during the uprising that toppled President Viktor Yanukovich. Since then civil unrest in eastern parts of Ukraine had led to a war in which more than 5,500 people had been killed.

Two people were killed as a result of an explosion in Kharkiv at one of the memorial events on the 22 February 2015.
