PKK to ‘resume fighting’ against Turkish army

Following the AKP victory in the general election of 1 November 2015 President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on the 4 November 2015 that would continue operations against the pro-Kurdish PKK group in order to liquidate them. On the 5 November 2015 a statement from PKK said they would resume fighting against the Turkish army, ending a unilateral ceasefire launched on 10 October 2015.
