Pension funds anxious to have their say on costs

The European Commission is likely to bring forward draft laws proposing the regulation of over-the-counter derivatives in September 2010.

This tight timetable has led to a sense of urgency among pension funds and the asset managers that implement liability hedges for them, as they have realised slightly belatedly the impact the proposals would have on their activities.
