Omnibus II vote: A big step towards a safer and more competitive insurance industry

On 11 March 2014 Michel Barnier, European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, spoke in the plenary session of the European Parliament for the "Omnibus II" Directive.

The "Omnibus II" Directive completes the "Solvency II" Directive and finalises the new framework for insurance regulation and supervision in the EU.
