Oligarchs and Political Elites vs. Media Freedom and Civil Society

Interview with Dunja Mijatović, the retiring Representative on Freedom of the Media of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in March 2016.

In the interview Mijatović pulled no punches as she explained why she believed media freedom was increasingly under threat and what could or should be done to counter such pressure. For Mijatović, it boiled down to democratic governments defending what they stand for.
