Norwegian mass murderer wins human rights case

A Norwegian court upheld on 20 April 2016 a claim by Anders Breivik that his human rights had been violated during his imprisonment.

The Oslo court ruled that Mr Breivik, who killed 77 people in two attacks in 2011, had been kept in 'inhuman or degrading' conditions, violating Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights, according to several media reports.
