New pro-Russia party emerges in Poland

A new political party emerged in Polish political stage in March 2015. Zmiana, - meaning 'change' - was described by EUObserver as strongly anti-Americanan and supportive of Russian president Vladimir Putin’s politics, seeing Russia as a natural ally for both Poland and the European Union.

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis, Poland has been seen as one of the most active EU member states advocating for a hard stance on Russia.
