More portable digital services: EU ambassadors confirm agreement

EU ambassadors endorsed on the 15 February 2017 new rules regarding cross-border portability of online content services in the internal market. This agreement allows consumers who paid for online content services in their home country to access them when visiting another country within the EU.

These rules are based on the informal agreement between the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reached on 7 February 2017.
