Memo: Fighting Tax Evasion and Avoidance: A year of progress

In December 2012, the Commission presented its Action Plan to further strengthen the fight against tax evasion. This included more than 30 measures to help Member States protect their tax bases and recapture some of the huge revenues lost to tax evasion and avoidance every year. This memo summarizes the most important actions that were taken in 2013.
