A meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council was held in Luxembourg on 14 April 2014. The conclusions included the following topics: + Exchange of views on a report on the functioning of the fruit and vegetable sector since the reform in 2007; + Discussion regarding the legal basis for the payment of the surplus due when quotas are exceeded after March 2015, when the EU milk quotas were scheduled to be abolished (8664/14); + Endorsement of a set of 11 delegated acts of the European Commission, in the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reform package adopted in 2013; + Adoption of a number of decisions connected to the internal market, including a legislative package for the reform of the audit market in the European Union, a directive laying down harmonised rules for placing radio equipment and a directive aimed at spreading the use of electronic invoicing in public procurement; + Adoption of a regulation amending the emissions trading scheme directive (2003/87/EC), an amended directive regarding environmental impact assessments and a regulation on fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases); + Adoption of a regulation aimed at facilitating and speeding up the authorisation procedure of clinical trials. |
